What is the cantonal energy certificate for buildings?
The CECB is the Cantonal Energy Certificate for Buildings. It shows, on the one hand, the efficiency of the building envelope and, on the other, the amount of energy a building needs when used in a standard way. This applies to existing buildings as well as to new builds. The defined energy requirement is visualized on a scale from A to G (from "very energy-efficient" to "not very energy-efficient"). As an owner, you can therefore obtain an objective assessment of your building's energy status and efficiency. You will also be able to put concrete figures on the savings achievable over the long term.
