A door that is hard to force will quickly discourage thieves. You can easily reinforce it with protected locks, angle brackets preventing the insertion of crowbars, or by lining your door with a steel plate. Oak and sheet metal are two very resistant materials if you wish to replace your door!

When the front door proves particularly resistant, thieves will almost automatically turn to the windows. You can secure them by adding bars, especially if they do not have shutters. There are also locks for sliding glass doors!

With a larger budget, you can turn to a security firm, which offers a daily patrol, and therefore permanent surveillance of your property!
