Mandatory asbestos survey: for buildings constructed before 1991, any owner undertaking works must carry one out. Our explanations.
For buildings constructed before 1991, any owner undertaking conversion or demolition works subject to authorization must carry out an asbestos survey of the property in accordance with article 103a "asbestos survey" of the Vaud Land Use Planning and Construction Act (LATC).
If the works to be carried out are not subject to authorization, an asbestos survey is not mandatory.
The municipality is in a position to determine which works are subject to authorization.
